Odoo HR Module
Odoo is a suite of open - source business apps written in the Python programming language and was released under the AGPL license. Odoo is the leading open source solution. The main Odoo components are the server, 260 core modules and around 4000 + community modules it does possess. Odoo has no licensing cost.
The Human Resource Management module is one of the modules in Odoo ERP solution which can help your firm manage your employees properly.
The details of all the employees from each department can be view at a glance.We can easily set privilege to certain types of information to HR managers and all other information public for all employees to see such as employee directory or any new notices, etc.
There is a pop-up notification for new leave requests, request for allocation, appraisal application etc.
Keeps track of the employee details such as hours worked and sort by project, client, or tasks. We can access statistics to record and analyze time sheets and check each employee's attendance.
Everyday reports such as Daily attendance, Work at Home etc., can also be recorded and accessed in a report format.
The employees have to request leave to their managers and managers in-turn can accept or decline the leaves accordingly. The decision of the manager is sent to the employee as a notification and the calendar is updated automatically.
Leaves that are yet to be approved, approved leaves, leaves by department etc., can also be viewed easily.
Employees can submit all the details of expenses. Managers can check out all details of expenses and either approve or reject in a single window. Once approved, expenses are immediately updated in Odoo Accounting.
Also, the expense reports that are yet to post or to be paid can also be recorded and viewed by the Manager.
Recruitment process management
We can easily set up a job board to post open positions in just a few clicks and easily keep track of submitted applications. And supervise and manage your applicant pipeline without any headache.
The various job positions have to be created such that it gives us a glance of the job positions that yet to be filled or recruitment process is finished. It also shows how many employees are hired. If the recruitment process is yet to be done, an application can be created for the employee for that particular job position and can be maintained in a streamlined view as the employee moves from one stage to another in the interview process.
All the job positions that are present, the number of current employees etc., can also be viewed.
A separate Applications tab is also present where the applications of the all employees can be created regardless of what job position they are applying for and can be maintained in a streamlined view.
Apart from these, the resumes and letters can also be stored.
